Course Fee:

The course fee for the MBA program at IDE is reasonable and affordable for most students. The total fee for the program is Rs. 27,000/-, which can be paid in two installments. In addition to the course fee, students also have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 150/- per paper.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration Degree Course in the Institute of Distance Education shall be required to have ANY ONE of the following qualifications under 10+2+3 pattern of Education:

• A pass in any branch of study of a Bachelor Degree/Master Degree of the University of Madras or any other University recognized by the UGC/AIU or a qualification accepted by this University as equivalent thereto
• A Professional Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine/Architecture/Law
• Professional Qualification in Accountancy/Cost & Works Accountancy/Company Secretary ship

A pass in Entrance Test conducted by the IDE, University of Madras, Chennai is mandatory to all the candidates

• Click on the "Admissions" tab and select "Online Admissions"
• Fill in the required details and create an account
• Login with your credentials and select "Apply for MBA"
• Fill in the application form with your personal, educational, and contact information
• Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph, signature, and necessary documents such as educational certificates, mark sheets, and work experience certificate (if any)
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- through online mode
• Review your application form and submit it

After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation message with your application number. Keep the application number safe as it is required for all further communication with the institute. IDE will verify your application and send you the admission letter containing all the necessary information such as study materials, assignment submission details, examination schedule, and contact class schedules.
